OUR STORY
The Admissions Academy was founded by two Oxford graduates with a combined experience over 15 years of tutoring. We have a passion for providing top-tier tutoring services from prep school all the way through to university. Our platform is designed to create an interactive and engaging learning environment for students and parents, setting a new standard in tutoring.
What makes us different

Assessment
We always start with an informal assessment to find any areas of weakness and gently test exam technique such as how the student deals with time pressure. We then complete a comprehensive report with a strategy to meet their goals and make development suggestions.

Action
Our tutors utilise their expertise and targeted practice on weaker areas, and continue to track progress with lesson-by-lesson reports. They build up confidence using incremental time-pressured exercises, and as we approach exam deadlines, they will increasingly use mock exams to make sure you are well prepared.

Achieve
After passing stage 1 exams such as the ISEB Common Pre-Test or Oxbridge entrance exams, we will help with interview practice and targeted practice for school-specific exams. We also assist with long-term preparation for Y8 Common Entrance or Scholarship exams and are always available for advice along the way.
Services
We always begin with a free, 30-minute consultation to discuss your educational needs. If you wish to proceed, we always begin with an initial assessment and design a bespoke programme to help your child achieve their goals (£200).
School Admissions
We help you with the whole process: from choosing suitable schools to preparing your children for assessments and interviews. We have a team of specialist tutors for 8+/9+, ISEB Common Pre-Test, 11+, Common Entrance, 13+ and 16+ examinations across all subjects. We have prepared hundreds of students for a whole range of schools from Eton and Westminster to smaller and international schools.
University Admissions
We help with everything from choosing an appropriate course, university and college, through to offering support when drafting personal statements, interview practice and tutoring for entrance exams. We have a team of tutors who are specialists in supporting for Oxford and Cambridge admissions. We also have some tutors who are former Oxford/Cambridge admissions tutors and in an expert position to advise.
